The safe is activated by a key inside the safe, which is given to the hotel guest upon arrival. Without the key, the box does not work.
With the key we activate the electronic mechanism of the safe.
The key remains fixed and inside the box during the stay and use by the guest. Therefore, there is no risk of key loss and only the customer must enter their secret code. When leaving the hotel, the client must return the key (a deposit-guarantee is charged in principle, which in this case would be returned).
